What’s Inside?

  • Olive oil – Olive oil is rich in fatty acids such as oleic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid, as well as lipids and antioxidants. These provide moisturising properties to help coat hair shafts, which can help nourish hair strands. One of the major factors contributing to hair fall is DHT production. Dihydrotestosterone, commonly known as DHT, is a hormone and a derivative of testosterone. When this hormone is excessively produced by the body, it causes hair fall. It interferes with the cycle of hair growth and makes it easier for hair to fall out in clumps. Oleic acid present in olive oil inhibits 5-alpha reductase, an enzyme that is responsible for converting testosterone into DHT, which in turn reduces the production of DHT. So, massaging your hair with Herbal Hair oil to block DHT production and make your hair shinier and stronger.
  • Amla – Amla oil is well known in traditional medicine since ancient times and used widely in many countries to promote hair and scalp health. The host of plant compounds, vitamins, and minerals in amla promote the scalp circulation and enhance healthy growth of hair. The richness of vitamin C in amla increases the production of collagen protein, which is beneficial in stimulating hair growth in both length and volume wise. A study proves that amla oil was a potent inhibitor of 5-alpha reductase which is an essential ingredient in the medication finasteride used to treat male baldness also functions by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase.
  • Brahmi – The most active components in Brahmi are the triterpenoids and alkaloids. One of the important triterpenes is Asiatic acid which influences collagen synthesis. It helps strengthen weakened veins that supply blood to the hair follicle. A study suggested that Brahmi strengthened the weakened veins, increasing oxygenated blood. This is important for people whose hair loss is a result of malnourished hair follicles. Brahmi helps provide strength and nourishment through the scalp, strengthening the blood vessels; thus, oxygen and nutrients stimulate hair growth and prevent hair loss.
  • Bhringraj – Eclipta alba is a component in various polyherbal formulations for hair growth promotion. The principal constituents of Eclipta alba are coumestan derivatives like wedololactone (1.6%), demethyl wedelolactone, demethyl-wedelolactone 7 glucoside and ecliptal, -amyrin, luteolin-7-O’Glucoside, hentriacontanol, heptacosanol, stigmasterol.
  • Kalonji – A study reveals that Anti-inflammatory properties of Nigella sativa (Kalonji) have the ability to reduce symptoms, such as trichodynia, typical of patients affected by TE (Telogen effluvium). Moreover, the results obtained indicated that NS is effective in promoting hair growth, thus inducing a significant improvement in terms of hair density.
  • Methi dana – Methi Dana contains a unique composition of plant compounds, including flavonoids and saponins. These compounds are presumed to induce hair growth due to their anti-inflammatory and antifungal effects.
  • Gudhal leaves & flower – It is concluded that the extract of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis has a potential effect on maintaining the hair growth in in vivo and in vitro methods and it is suggested that the leaf extract of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis could be included as a constituent in the hair growth formulations.
  • Curry patta – Curry leaves are a rich source of protein which is essential for hair growth and maintaining the overall health of your mane. Plus, it has beta-carotene and amino acids which also work at reducing hair loss and help strengthen hair follicles, regenerate dormant follicles and regrow new hair. Curry leaves benefit thin and falling hair and make it visibly fuller and better.
  • Jatamansi – Jatamansi have excellent hair growth promoting activity by an enlargement of follicular size and a prolongation of the anagen phase. Jatamansi showed a positive response in hair growth activity due to two compounds, nardin and jatamansic acid.
  • Shikakai – Promote hair growth and prevent hair splitting, falling and dandruff. It is also used for healthy growth o f hairs and to keep the hairs in their original colour.
